I am writing on behalf of Mr. Au Hok Kan, Boris who is a library Ambassador of Shek Mun Campus Library of Hong Kong Baptist University from September 2015 to present.
Boris has been promoted to be the Senior Ambassador in academic year 2016 - 2017 outstanding performance. He is accountable, initiative in providing library services including sixty hours, attended two library information skill training, two leadership workshops by the Library and outside trainers, etc. Besides serving as a volunteer in Shek Mun Library, he also worded as a paid student helper with the journal relocation project in the Main Library of Hong Kong Baptist University. Hence I would recommend him to further studies in higher education or anyone who needs his service.

I had the pleasure to teach two courses where Boris was one of my students. While one should not develop preferences among students, I could not avoid to recognise Boris' compelling eagerness to participate and contribute to the discussion. In both courses he excelled in participation, such as when asking critical and inquisitive questions, while still leaving space to other students. The group project and written exams were also outstanding, with unique and well-developed ideas. Additionally, I could notice his genuine interest when after class he would ask for clarifications to further develop his ideas and connections to issues related to the course and beyond.
All things considered, I recommend Boris to potential employers as a diligent, precise, and creative person who is certain to accomplish the given tasks and even exceed your expectations.
